EVENING SHOW STARTS 7PM (ends approx 10pm)

The main festival kicks off with a sizzling line up of films on the opening night, followed by a lecture by the legendary Johnny Dawes!.

Traces a Himalayan Expedition in real time, from preparation and the journey to Nepal, right through to the summit attempt. Wonderfully short and produced.

Into Perpetual Ice (21 mins)
We follow a team of whitewater kayakers on a trip to Greenland. Pack ice causes initial problems but they eventually reach the whitewater they had come to find.
