The festival is not just about the lectures and the films. It is a gathering of the climbing, skiing and boarding, kayaking and adventure sports communities, and a great social event. The FREE EMFF party makes a return this year! It will be staged in the Counting House, just a couple of minutes walk from George Square. You can also catch up with your friends in the Bothy Bar (on site) or with drinks at nearby The Pear Tree, on West Nicolson Street, the unofficial social centre of the festival.

NEWS The good news is that entry to the party will be FREE this year. Numbers are restricted, however, so the party is ticketed. To get a ticket, simply come along to the Saturday Night Extreme session at the EMFF and ask for a party ticket at the EMFF ticket desk - you will be given one free of charge. Please note that party tickets will only be issued on the Saturday evening.
