THE CLIMBER'S SESSION - SHOW STARTS 2PM

The Saturday afternoon session is dedicated to all forms of climbing, be it trad, sport, winter mountaineering bouldering or dry-tooling. The session will appeal to all climbers as the line-up features many different disciplines, with an exciting blend of films and lecture. Details will be added shortly. Last year's line up is below:

The films:

Aweberg (27 mins)
Will Gadd and a chum decide that climbing icebergs would be the ultimate challenge. Don't icebergs collapse and roll over at random? Sounds a bit dangerous to me!
Will Gadd

Canada

Quiero Ser Como Tu (5 mins)
An amusing short film looking at what climbers do when they are not climbing!
Spain

Didier vs The Cobra (26 mins)
The battle to claim the first ascent of Cobra Crack in Squamish, BC - touted as the hardest rock route in the world. A beautiful film - but is the route as tough as Rhapsody?
Peter Mortimer - Sender Films
USA
FINALIST: BEST CLIMBING FILM
This film is an extract from First Ascent.
