Lecture: AL HUMPHREYS
The Call of the Wild

Unlike many full-time adventurers, Alastair is neither particularly athletic, brave nor bearded. He will try to convince us 'normal people' that we too can cycle round the world, row across oceans, walk through deserts, or at least attempt a "microadventure" of our own - Alastair's own brand of local adventures.

EMFF - Alastair Humphreys lecture Edinburgh

Recently named 'National Geographic Adventurer of the Year', Alastair Humphreys will share a variety of his adventures and try to explain the attraction of attempting difficult challenges in the world's wild places.
