We've always felt that a mountain film festival
shouldn't just be about sitting around watching films and hearing lectures
about other people's adventures. We're all passionate about the outdoors,
so we also want to encourage you to get out there! To help you on your
adventurous ways, we are delighted to introduce adventure
taster sessions this year.
We've teamed up with some of Edinburgh's best activity centres
and groups to give you the chance to try kayaking, rock-climbing, skiing
and snowboarding. The dates are:
29-30 Sept - Ski & Board 1
15 October - Ski & Board 2
16 October - Kayaking
17 October - Ski & Board 2
18 October - Rock Climbing 1
19 October - Main Festival Begins!
All October - Rock Climbing 2

16 October - Learn to kayak with Edinburgh Kayak Club. An evening of
introductory skills at Gracemount Leisure Centre. A small charge applies
