PROFILE : Cameron McNeish
Wild Scotland - A Spirit of Place

Lecture
(Friday 21 October - 7pm)

Writer, broadcaster and editor of TGO magazine, Cameron McNeish is probably the best known hill-walker in Scotland and has long been recognised as one of Britain's best known outdoor commentators.

You may not know, however, that he is a former climbing and skiing instructor, who has travelled through many of the world's great mountain ranges in destinations such as the Himalayas, Guatemala, Jordan, East Africa and North America.

But it's in the hills and glens of Scotland that Cameron is most at home and he has written a number of books about the Scottish mountains.

In a visually-stunning and passionate presentation, Cameron will celebrate the mountains of the Scottish Highlands and islands and the wonderful opportunities they provide for climbers, hill-walkers and backpackers.
