Lecture
(Friday 20 October 2006)

Guy Robertson learned to climb aged 19, when a he and a friend 'borrowed' some dated climbing gear and plunged headlong into a succession of winter weekends in the Cairngorms. After 10 successive weekends, they had managed to fight their way up a total of 4 routes!

Since then, Guy's skills have developed considerably and he has worked his way up through the routes and now often appears in climbing magazines, having added another new winter Grade VIII or summer E6 route to his impressive climbing CV.

Guy loves adventurous climbing and has travelled to destinations as diverse as Arctic Norway, Peru and Jordan in pursuit of exciting routes. His lively lecture, accompanied by stunning images, will take us on a global mountaineering journey that is sure to inspire.
