The festival is not just about the lectures and
the films. It is a gathering of the climbing, skiing and boarding, kayaking
and adventure sports communities, and a great social event.
After the success of the party at the 2005 festival,
Saturday 21st October will see the 2nd official EMFF party. This vibrant
night is open to all - but tickets are limited to 200, so get yours
early. A great way to finish the night after the Saturday evening lecture.
Venue: The Counting House
When: Saturday 21 Oct, starts 10pm
Tickets: £5 from Tiso & Alien Rock
Over 18s only!
The Counting House is located on West Nicolson Street, just a few minutes
walk from George Square Lecture Theatre.
As well as the party, there are plenty of
other opportunities to socialise during the festival.
Catch up with your friends in the Bothy Bar (on site) or with drinks
or a meal at nearby The Pear Tree, on West Nicolson Street, the informal
social centre of the festival. The Pear Tree is a great place to hang
out between shows.
